The Cellar Jazz Club is a basement restaurant/bar where a steady stream of the best jazz musicians from Vancouver, Canada, and around the world come to play.
The Rogue Folk Club is a non-profit society that offers audiences the opportunity to see and hear some of the world’s most accomplished folk musicians in a relaxed, intimate setting.
St. James Academy of Music is an established after-school program in the Downtown Eastside which offers free classical musical instruction to disadvantaged youth at no cost to their families. Spring 2013 notes: St. James is currently seeking viola and cello donations.

Takin’ Turns is a local volunteer run organization, with all proceeds going to back into the program and to a local sponsored charity. Each month, this group coordinates three local artists to work together and perform original music as well as share stories with the audience.
