David Barber

David Barber has been a professional musician and music instructor for almost 10 years. David teaches Electric and Acoustic Guitar as well as 5 string banjo (fingerstyle). He is very fluent in all styles of music including Rock, Pop, Blues, Jazz, Country, Bluegrass and Folk. Through the years he has had the privilege of being able to study, learn and perform with some of the best musicians in Canada and also has to his credit a Diploma in Music Performance on Jazz Guitar from Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton Alberta.

David has had the honour of performing all over Canada and the U.S. and has had the privilege of performing with artists that have had top hits in both Canada and the U.S.

David has taught music to students as young as four and all the way to adults. He believes in a relaxed and positive learning environment. David has had many years of teaching experience and really enjoys helping people of all ages learn to play and further their music knowledge. Whether that be helping beginners or broadening the musical spectrum of intermediate and advanced musicians, David is excited to help you on your music journey!
