Chris Wilson

Chris holds an Associate Diploma in Jazz from Malaspina College and has been teaching Saxophone, Clarinet and Flute for the past 10 years. He has performed on Saxophone in a number of Jazz, Rhythm & Blues, Funk and Swing bands over the years, and has also garnered an international reputation as a DJ. Chris is one of only a few artists in the world to combine Saxophone with his DJ sets during live performances, and has toured Canada, the U.S. and Mexico showcasing his unique talent.

In class, Chris’ primary goal is to make learning an enjoyable experience for every student. He has coached hundreds of musicians through the start of their music careers with an approach that is fun yet purposeful, and is tailored to each student's individual goals.
