Rebecca Obedkoff
Rebecca Obedkoff has a Bachelor of Music from UBC as well as an Associate Diploma from the Victoria Conservatory of Music.Since completing the affiliated Teacher Training Program at the VCM in 1996, Rebecca has enjoyed working with students of all ages and abilities. During her own training, Rebecca studied at length with Sarah Jackson, Kathleen Rudolph and Susan Hoeppner as well as studying two years of Baroque Flute with Sonja Boon.
She has performed with the Vancouver Academy Orchestra, the UBC Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Collegium Musicum and Contemporary Players and the University of Toronto Wind Symphony. In addition, she has performed many solo recitals and competed in the BC performing Arts Festival. Rebecca has had the opportunity to attend many masterclasses and festivals including most recently Domaine Forget, where she studied with Andras Adorjan, Ransom Wilson and Robert Cram as well as Le Centre d'Arts Orford where she studied with Robert Langevin.
Rebecca also teaches flute ensemble classes at Prussin Music.
