Kirby Green
Kirby has had a passion for playing, singing, songwriting and performing all styles of music from a very young age. Through the years she also developed a love for sharing this passion through teaching. She enjoys creating lessons that are fun, diverse, and well suited to fitting each students personal musical goals. She has been teaching Guitar (Electric & Acoustic) and Bass (Electric & Upright) for the last 5 years at Leduc School of Music and Visionary College in Edmonton, Alberta. Kirby is a graduate of the music program at Grant MacEwan University in Edmonton. Kirby was born and raised in Salmon Arm, BC and later moved to Edmonton for music school, and to pursue performing professionally. She has worked as a full time performing musician on Guitar and Bass in Western Canada for several years. In those years Kirby has been privileged to play many prestigious stages with a variety of artists and bands in Country, Blues, Pop, Rock, Jazz, and Bluegrass styles.
