Geneva Gamble
With a Music Diploma from Vancouver Community College and a Jazz Studies Degree from Capilano University, Geneva has been performing and teaching for over 10 years in and throughout the Lower Mainland and the North Shore.
She has performed with the critically acclaimed vocal jazz group Nitecap, and has been the recipient of the Poisson Award for Musical Achievement (2007) as well as the Terry & Lynne Smith Memorial Scholarship for Musical Achievement (2005).
Currently, Geneva performs regularly with the Indie/Rock band Framed Faces as well as her own jazz group, The Geneva Convention for corporate and private functions. She is in the process of working on an original album and developing her own R & B/Soul project.
Dynamic and personable, her teaching style fosters confidence and strong musicianship skills making music lessons fun and engaging for kids, adolescents and adults alike.
