Jackie Nguyen

Jackie Nguyen is a voice teacher who is passionate about music and sharing music through teaching. She has an interactive teaching style that makes lessons fun, creative and engaging in a supportive and positive environment. Jackie believes that every student's voice is unique and strives to tailor each lesson to meet each individual's goals and needs. She is versatile with many genres of music including jazz, pop, R&B, funk, soul, blues, broadway, folk, rock & roll, and classical.

Currently, Jackie is a voice student studying at Capilano University. In Fall 2010, she will be finishing her Bachelors of Music in Jazz Studies, with a focus in the teacher's education stream. During her studies, Jackie sang with Capilano University's top vocal jazz ensemble Nitecap for three years. There, she shared the stage with many world-class musicians. Jackie also performs with a several local bands and as a bandleader with her own music projects.
