Orchestral String Rentals

Prussin Music has been the first choice for countless string players over the last 30 years whether they are professionals or have yet to pick up their first instrument. All of our instruments are available for rent and purchase as new, nearly new or used at a range of affordable prices. Each instrument, whether new or used, is checked over and cleaned by one of our talented repair technicians: Ian or Randy.

All of our rental instruments come with a free maintenance kit, music folder, travel tag and maintenance repairs during the rental period. If you purchase an instrument you also get a free music stand.

Instruments

With a wide array of makes available, we stock high quality student instruments and popular choices for professional musicians. We carry the following manufacturers:
Gliga, Franz Sandner, Jay Haide, Strunal-Dvorak, Suzuki, & Yamaha.

What each rental includes: Each rental comes with a high-quality Wittner tailpiece, real ebony fingerboard and pegs, high quality strings, a hard case or quality padded gig bag, rosin, and real pernambuco bow.

Exchanges: We carry orchestral string instruments in every size, even upright basses in 1/4 and 1/2 sizes. Exchanges are easy within the orchestral string department. Our exchange policy - Should you wish to exchange instruments, your rental credit will be transferred at no less of your accumulated credit for instruments of equal or greater value. Exchanges within our orchestral string rental program are charged a fee to cover set-up and administration costs. While the fee is optional, credit can only be carried forward when the fee is paid. We make all exchanges easy and hassle-free.
