Kristen holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Acadia University. She has been studying classical guitar for 13 years and has studied with world-class guitarists at the International Guitar Symposium in Germany and is in the direct line of Segovia teachings. She has seven years of teaching experience (Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts and presently at the Sarah McLachlan Music Outreach).

Kristen is the founder of the band Language-Arts with which she tours regularly (www.language-arts.net) and she manages review submissions and writes for webzine www.lefthip.com. She has a creative approach to teaching groups and private lessons in all genres for ages 8+.
